BuiltX Sustainable Design and Construction is a company that translates visionary ideas into reality through sustainable design and construction, with a particular focus on projects that benefit healthcare, education, and culture.
We are seeking an execution-focused Project Manager with significant experience in hospital construction to lead the delivery of a high-performance healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Execution Leadership:
- Take full ownership of hospital project execution, driving timely completion of all milestones within cost and quality parameters.
- Direct and coordinate on-site activities to ensure compliance with plans, drawings, specifications, and healthcare construction best practices.
- Anticipate risks and proactively implement solutions to ensure uninterrupted project progress.
- Technical and Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the installation and integration of medical-grade infrastructure, including MEP, HVAC, medical gases, modular OTs, and other hospital-critical systems.
- Provide technical direction to contractors, consultants, and on-site teams, ensuring precision in execution and alignment with healthcare standards (NABH, NBC, and applicable Indian codes).
- Resource and Budget Management:
- Manage project resources—labor, materials, equipment—efficiently to optimize cost without compromising quality.
- Monitor budgets and financial reports, ensuring accountability and cost control across all phases.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure strict adherence to Indian building codes, hospital-specific regulations, and environmental norms.
- Enforce rigorous safety protocols and maintain a zero-incident culture at site.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, vendors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring transparent communication and alignment.
- Coordinate with architects, healthcare planners, and contractors to address design-build challenges in real time.
- Quality Control and Commissioning:
- Implement robust quality assurance systems to meet the high standards required for hospital facilities.
- Lead final commissioning, ensuring all systems—from OT equipment to HVAC to patient safety systems—are fully operational before handover.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from a recognized Indian or international university.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in hospital construction.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale healthcare projects within time and budget.
- Strong knowledge of hospital infrastructure systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety, medical gas, and modular OT standards).
- Deep understanding of Indian construction regulations, safety standards, and healthcare accreditation requirements (NABH preferred).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities under high-pressure conditions.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
About This Role:
This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in executing complex healthcare projects and drive business growth.
We welcome talented professionals who share our passion for innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
