Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior IBM iSeries Developer to drive large-scale enterprise application development on the IBM iSeries platform. This highly skilled individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex applications using RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE.

Responsibilities
  • Application Development: Design, develop, and test large-scale enterprise applications on the IBM iSeries platform.
  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling) and strong understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Integrate technologies such as API, MQ, XML, FTP, and Java/Python for hybrid application development. Collaborate with global teams to drive project delivery and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Skills and Qualifications: University graduate with a degree in IT or related discipline. Minimum 10+ years' hands-on experience in IBM iSeries system development. Strong expertise in application design, development, and testing.
  • Candidate Requirements: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in multiple programming languages and integration technologies.
Requirements

Essential Skills: Experience in DB2 for iSeries, RPGLE, CLLE programming, ILE, API, MQ, XML, FTP, Java/Python.

Degree Requirement: University graduate with a degree in IT or related discipline.

Years of Experience: Minimum 10+ years' hands-on experience in IBM iSeries system development.

Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
