Job Title: Pipeline Cost Estimator

We are seeking an experienced pipeline estimator to play a key role in our Oil & Gas Plant Projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in tendering and proposal preparation, with a strong background in Mechanical / Chemical / Process engineering.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for various Oil & Gas Pipeline Projects, working closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate Preparation: Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for pipeline projects, including materials, labour, and overhead costs.
  • Tendering and Proposals: Lead the preparation of tenders and proposals, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are covered and aligned with client requirements.
  • Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance project profitability.
  • Bid Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and information for bid preparation and submission.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements, address queries, and ensure all aspects of the project are understood.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and propose mitigation strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, with the ability to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
