Job Overview

This role entails developing, configuring, and customizing Opcenter R&DL (LIMS) in line with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement workflows, data models, and business rules based on the Opcenter R&DL data model.
  • Customize the system using SQL, Java, or other scripting languages to meet specific needs.
Testing and Deployment
  • Conduct thorough testing of the system, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Support system deployment, go-live activities, and post-implementation support to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Integrate Opcenter R&DL with ERP systems, MES systems, PLM systems, and other enterprise systems.
  • Develop interfaces using APIs, web services, or middleware (e.g., OPC UA, RESTful services) to facilitate data exchange.
  • Ensure proper data flow between lab equipment and the LIMS.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, Python, or VBScript for customization.
  • Experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON, and Web Services.
  • Familiarity with database management (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Mandatory Skills
  • Decision-making power.
  • Ability to define and design overall solutions for Opcenter R&DL.
  • Participation in Agile team meetings.
