Citi's Technology team is seeking an experienced Senior Applications Development Analyst to lead the development and implementation of big data technologies. As a senior-level professional, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
This role requires at least two years of experience building and leading complex technical data engineering teams, with a focus on big data development using Apache Spark, Scala, and distributed systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic vision and implementation of big data technologies
- Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark and Scala
- Providing expertise in big data technologies and ensuring alignment with company architecture and standards
Required skills include:

- Strong proficiency in functional programming, including Scala-based functional programming
