Food Industry Production Operations Manager

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced production operations manager to oversee our daily production activities in the food industry.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership abilities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely completion of production schedules.
This role plays a crucial part in managing the production team, implementing standard operating procedures, and maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely completion of schedules.
- Lead the team to ensure production targets are met.
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with the QA/QC team to ensure product excellence.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA/QC, inventory, purchasing, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and resolve any production-related issues.
- E nsure all health and safety protocols are strictly followed on the production floor to maintain a safe working environment.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in overseeing daily production operations, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and meeting targets.
- Proven ability to implement and enforce SOPs.
- Experience in leading a production team to achieve goals.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of health and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in production management, preferably within the food industry. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field is preferred. An MBA is an advantage.
