About the Role:

We seek an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in software testing, particularly in Digital Banking. This role is ideal for someone skilled in test automation and modern quality engineering practices, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality banking solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for digital banking applications, including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and Core Banking APIs.
  • Build and maintain automation scripts using Selenium or Playwright for UI testing, and Postman/REST Assured for API testing.
  • Participate in shift-left testing by reviewing requirements, collaborating in design discussions, and identifying potential defects early in the lifecycle.
  • Actively learn and adopt new testing tools and techniques, especially in automation and AI-assisted testing, to continuously improve test coverage and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, including strong expertise in functional, API, and automation testing within digital banking services.
  • Solid understanding of digital banking workflows, including Payments, Cards, KYC, Customer Onboarding, Loans, and Internet/Mobile Banking channels.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation development using Selenium and Playwright for UI testing, and Postman/REST Assured for API testing.
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-powered testing tools and concepts, such as AI-driven test case generation.
  • Experience in shift-left testing practices, working closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded early in the SDLC.
  • Holds an ISTQB Test certification
