Senior QA Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer to contribute to our company's growth.

  • Expertise in test case creation, execution, and bug reporting is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of manual testing experience.
  • Familiarity with REST Assured for API automation testing is desired.
  • Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Maven, and CICD Tools is essential.
  • Experience in testing cloud-hosted and customer-facing applications.
  • Prior experience in the payments industry is beneficial but not necessary.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A thorough understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Strong technical skills, including SQL and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proficiency in Node.js or other relevant languages.
  • Extensive API testing experience.
  • A focus on adopting standards and best practices for both custom and packaged software, with an emphasis on testing processes for continuous improvement and automation.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Apply quality management principles and practices to work with stakeholders.
  • Analyze problems, defects, and exceptions, and implement mitigation steps.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize functional and technical backlogs and defect burn-downs.

A strong communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, the successful candidate will be able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team of experienced QA Engineers.
