Technical Expertise:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in software development, particularly in designing and implementing scalable microservices-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop high-quality, maintainable code using Ruby on Rails and other relevant technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  3. Implement security practices and bot mitigation strategies to ensure system integrity.
  4. Work closely with infrastructure engineers to monitor and troubleshoot performance issues.
  5. Design and develop SOLR configurations for search functionality.
  6. Utilize AWS services, including SQS and cloud infrastructure, to support scalable solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and experience with Sinatra.
  • Proven experience working with microservices-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, ZooKeeper, and Thrift or similar messaging/streaming platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with SOLR for search and AWS services.
  • Experience with security practices and bot mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in healthcare technology platforms.
