Electrical Engineer Position Overview

Job Description:

  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods.
  • Work on obsolescence activities with the team to qualify replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with documentation.
  • End-to-end ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions.
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings to manufacture those concepts.
  • Participate in design reviews to present the design throughout different phases of design and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3-5 years of experience is required. A Master's degree is preferred with one year of experience.
  • Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect.
  • Ability to select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Critical/system-level thinking.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in working on part lifecycle management, change orders using any PLM system.
  • Understanding of PCB and components.
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
