Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to join our team.

This role will involve leading the design, configuration and deployment of industrial automation systems across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADAs, HMIs and plant floor connectivity, as well as experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms and cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and implementing real-time data acquisition, visualization and reporting solutions
  • Ensuring seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems, ERP databases and cloud
  • Developing and maintaining secure and efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT and OPC UA protocols
  • Managing industrial databases, SQL historian and timeseries databases for high availability and performance
  • Troubleshooting, optimizing and supporting existing SCADA/MES deployments to ensure minimal downtime

Qualifications include:

  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies, including REST APIs for system interconnectivity and MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
