Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Microsoft Azure Data platform and SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop warehouse solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS, ADF, Databricks, Power BI, and Azure Analysis Services.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS, SQL, and query optimization techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data infrastructure aligns with overall IT architecture.
  • Analyze and understand existing data landscapes and provide recommendations for rearchitecting, optimizing, and streamlining data flows.
  • Design and build scalable and reliable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Azure, AWS cloud services, and DevOps/CI/CD frameworks.
  • Expertise in working with large amounts of structured and unstructured data, building data pipelines for ETL workloads, and generating insights using Data Science and Analytics.
  • Proficiency in SSIS, SQL, and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) tools like Jenkins.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and vague requirements and transform them into deliverables.
