The incumbent is responsible for leading the transformation and embedding of organisational culture.
As a strategic leader, they champion the company's values through strong leadership and inspirational behaviour.
They are expected to foster an environment that encourages collaboration and promotes engagement among employees.
- Provide reports on all areas of HR, including application of Employment Law, policy, best practice and workforce development.
- Advise on the development of effective employment policies across the organisation.
- Provide professional leadership, support and development to HR staff to increase knowledge, share best practice and ensure relevant professional standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation.
- Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department, including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward and Recognition, and maintaining and improving HR systems.
- Drive continuous improvement agenda focusing on engagement & welfare activities, maximising productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability.
- Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening organisational culture, ensuring company values and approach are displayed.
- Develop and execute a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion aligning with company values, business strategy and commitments.
- Regularly coach, mentor and support senior and high potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage retention.
- Education: Master Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Work Experience: 12+ years of experience in HR Role.
- Ability to create people strategy.
- Commercial acumen and experience of using metrics for driving performance.
- Pro-active attitude and passion for leading with integrity.
- Superior interpersonal skills and positive, approachable manner.
- Agressive work ethic and curiosity to think innovatively and rationally about concerns and come up with creative solutions.
- Experience managing skilled team and ability to make quick but rational decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of Employment Law.
- Thorough and methodical attention to detail.
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritise, problem-solve and use initiative.
- First-rate communication and presentation skills.
