Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting activities including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ledger entries
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management information reports
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, analyze costs, and optimize processes
  • Support audits with accurate documentation and reporting
  • Generate reports as needed by management to inform decision-making
  • Process transactions efficiently, including contra, journal, receipt, and payment entries
  • Collaborate with teams to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements
  • Familiarize yourself with accounting standards and company policies to ensure adherence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably under a certified accountant or in an accounting firm
  • Proficient in Tally or other ERP tools like Zoho
  • Strong understanding of AP/AR, tax compliance, MIS reporting, and industry regulations
  • Experience with inventory management is an asset (food and beverage domain is a plus)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
