Key Job Responsibilities

The role of a Credit Regulatory Specialist involves guiding business units on regulatory compliance for transactions handled by the bank. This includes strategic managerial responsibilities such as providing guidance and support to business teams on their queries pertaining to credit regulations.

Core responsibilities include reviewing product and process notes to ensure they are compliant from a regulatory perspective, representing the Compliance unit in PPAC Committee discussions, and communicating compliance comments to the product owner.

Additionally, the role requires ensuring that regulatory guidelines are disseminated within prescribed timelines, identifying and reviewing action points, and following up with stakeholders to implement regulatory guidelines.

Training is also an essential aspect of this role, involving the provision of periodic training on RBI guidelines pertaining to credit portfolios, devising online training modules, and periodically updating content.

Furthermore, the Credit Regulatory Specialist must prepare and submit quarterly compliance agenda notes to the CS team, as well as compile monthly reports on compliance activities.
