Airport Operations Specialist Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting crew systems, baggage management, and ensuring the smooth operation of airport operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support crew systems for scheduling, tracking, and utilization of crew resources
  • Manage baggage handling systems, including monitoring and operating automated systems
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure efficient airport operations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field with relevant travel experience
  • International Air Transport Association (IATA) certification or diploma in Travel and Tourism is desirable
  • Proven knowledge of the airline industry and previous work experience in airport operations
  • Working knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and proficiency in using tools like DCS
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with ability to work independently
