Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Mobile Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Agile development process, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites for Android and iOS apps using Appium. This role requires a passion for delivering high-quality mobile experiences and thriving in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for Android and iOS apps using Appium.
  • Test RESTful APIs and backend integration using RestAssured or similar tools.
  • Execute tests on real devices and emulators, ensuring comprehensive coverage across platforms.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams in Agile ceremonies, including 3 Amigos sessions.
  • Analyze mobile logs and utilize debugging tools to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Validate app deployments and contribute to robust mobile release workflows.
Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 5+ years of overall testing experience, with 2+ years in mobile automation.
  • Strong experience with Appium and API testing using RestAssured.
  • Solid understanding of iOS and Android platforms, including emulator and physical device usage.
  • Experience working in CI/CD environments for mobile apps.
  • Strong debugging skills and comfort with mobile logs and tooling.
