Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Distribution Planning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing stock replenishment in assigned areas of the supply chain network.

You will define safety stock norms and maintain stock levels in all CFAs to manage uncertainties in demand & supply. Your goal will be to deliver fill rates (OTIF) at all CFAs across the country.

Additionally, you will ensure On Time Finished Goods delivery of Consumer promotions, new launches and season plans in alignment with demand & supply team.

You will also be responsible for maintaining high stock Freshness across all CFAs and working on strategies to reduce SLOBs.

Furthermore, you will coordinate between demand and supply team to align and ensure stock availability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Daily stock availability monitoring and distribution planning for all CFAs
  • Align with Logistics team on Dispatch schedule and release dispatch plan
  • Ensure high truck utilization for all vehicle movements – Reduce transportation cost
  • Ensure on time dispatches and manage stock levels in the CFAs to avoid sales loss or stock outs
  • Pro-actively look at current gaps in service levels (Case Fill, Delivery performance, service network) and suggest and implement improvement plans
  • NPD, promotion & season plans: Align the plan schedules with demand team and ensure the distribution within timelines
  • Maintain required stock freshness in all CFAs – Highlight SLOB risks and manage the liquidation in collaboration with sales & marketing teams
  • Work on the action plans to reduce SLOB generation
  • Provide forward requirement visibility to Supply team to ensure stock availability
  • Co-ordination with various stakeholders
