Cloud Transformation Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Transformation Expert to lead our cloud journey. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the migration of on-premises workloads to public cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead at least one transformation project migration from on-premises workloads to a public cloud solution.
  • Design and implement Terraform infrastructure as code (IaC) pipelines for migrating applications to cloud.
  • Manage Jenkins-based pipelines for automating application deployments.
  • Drive GITOPS-driven configuration management and deployment practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Red Hat Certified Architect or equivalent certification, Azure Cloud Architect, AWS Cloud Architect, OCI Cloud Implementation.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Expertise in comparing services across public clouds.
  • Understanding of cloud adoption models for major cloud services CPU architectures, storage, and network connectivity.
  • Knowledge in Windows internals.
  • Depth knowledge of public cloud technologies.
  • API communication expertise (REST/Soap), developing new consumers/publishers for APIs.
  • Conceptual understanding of infrastructure and its workings.
  • DNS (Authoritative and Non-Authoritative DNS, Dynamic and bind DNS, Forwarder).
  • SSL Communication (Handshake of SSL traffic, Cipher Suites, Encryption Algorithms).
  • Active Directory (Security Organizational Units, Policies).
  • Certificates (SAN, Client-Authentication, Keystores, Mutual SSL).
  • Load balancers / Site Selectors / Firewall.
  • Vault Tools (CyberArk / Hashicorp).
  • High Availability.
  • Excellent hands-on experience with configuration management, orchestration, and IaC tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
  • Scripting skills in Groovy (writing Jenkins files), Bash, PowerShell, Python.
  • Understanding of cloud connectivity, SDWAN, private connectivity principles.
  • Strong understanding of Repository and Artifact management Tools (Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus).
  • Strong understanding of Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Strong understanding of ELK and its beats (Audit beat, File Beat).
  • Strong understanding of OS Compliance Policies (CIS Benchmark).
  • Agile methodologies and their ceremonies.
  • Strategic thinking with research and development mindset.
  • Adequate understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
