Job Title: Senior Manager

About the Role

This key leadership position supports analysis and research across every stage of the investment decision, risk management, and investment monitoring process for a diverse portfolio of clients.

The successful incumbent will possess a deep understanding of global capital markets and have a working knowledge of various asset classes and investment strategies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive performance reports for defined contribution, defined benefit, and delegated solution plans.
  • Analyze the performance of different investment options and overall plans to provide valuable insights.
  • Collaborate with investment and custodian teams to gather and clarify client-specific data for reporting purposes.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage clients and manage ongoing relationships.
  • Define, delegate, monitor, and participate in employee engagement activities to foster a positive work environment.
  • Mentor and lead a team of analysts across various processes, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues on projects and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Nurture strong relationships with onshore business process owners and senior management to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Prioritize exceptional client experience and ensure compliance with all internal and client policies.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders, including level F/G personnel.
  • Train and coach new hires in the team on automation tools to promote skill development.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, economics, or mathematics.
  • A graduate degree (B.com, BBA, or equivalent) and/or a Master's degree in finance, preferably with progress towards CFA and CIPM certification.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages.
  • Strong understanding and proper usage of investment-related terminology in written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in analyzing investment portfolios or researching investment managers located outside of India.
  • Ability to compute returns (money weighted/time weighted) for defined benefit and NFP clients.
  • Familiarity with global capital markets and working knowledge of various asset classes and investment strategies.
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications, particularly MS-Excel, MS-Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Superior problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to multitask, manage multiple priorities, and work in a rapidly changing environment while ensuring standards and deadlines are met.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and quick turnaround projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication, and time management skills.
