Scaffold Supervisor Role

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Scaffold Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance and removal of scaffolding on various construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record of ensuring safe working practices and adhering to strict health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting scaffolds before each work period or where a scaffold has been altered, adjusted or subjected to rain or heavy winds
  • Ensuring that all scaffolding is properly tagged and registered
  • Appointing a competent scaffolder to maintain and repair scaffolding
  • Conducting regular HSE risk assessments and toolbox discussions prior to work commencing

In addition, the Scaffold Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and organizing scaffolding with Scaffolding Inspectors to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Recommending changes to scaffolding as required
