Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (ETL)

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test cases. You will also evaluate the testing process and make recommendations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test cases
  • Evaluate the testing process and make recommendations
  • Execute test cases in a timely manner
  • Identify and record bugs

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of QA experience in data projects
  • Good experience in ETL/Data warehouse projects
  • Collaborate with Development/Business teams to understand requirements
  • Analyze business requirements and develop positive/negative test scenarios
  • Create test files to validate business requirements and metadata layer configurations
  • Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to address data issues
  • Experience using Jira to track work assignments
  • Working experience in Cloud-related projects
  • AWS/AWS Services experience is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house tools and practices
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
