Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled AS400/RPG professional with 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex applications on the AS400 platform using RPGLE and CL programming languages.
  • Design and implement efficient database structures, including Database, DDS, and subfiles.
  • Write optimized SQL queries to improve database performance.
  • Implement automation using Query/400 and FTP concepts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide technical support during testing, deployment, and post-deployment phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG programming.
  • Strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE and CL programming languages.
  • Experience with ILE Advanced concepts, procedures, service programs, functions, free RPG coding syntax.
  • Excellent understanding of Database, DDS, sub files, RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts.
  • Excellent understanding of CL & OS/400 commands.
  • Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment is desired.
  • Any experience in Web services, Application Integration, or Modernization areas of AS/400 would be an added advantage.
