Job Title: EXIM Executive

 

About This Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation and submission of export documents, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws. They will also handle free-of-cost shipments, share Shipping Liability Insurance (SLI) with freight forwarders/CHA/shipping lines/airlines, and prepare post-shipment export documents under Letter of Credit/Collection basis.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare pre-shipment export documents for customs clearance under various schemes and verify checklists.
  • Handle free-of-cost shipments and manage vendor bills.
  • Share SLI with relevant parties and coordinate with internal teams, freight forwarders, CHAs, and banks.
  • Ensure compliance with FEMA, DGFT, Customs, and International Trade Regulations.
  • Maintain export MIS and keep records in soft copies and hard copies of export documentation.

 

Requirements:
  • Familiarity with DGFT notifications, EXIM policy, EPCG/Advance Licence/DBK/RODTEP, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving under deadlines.
  • Self-starter mindset, able to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to use customs/export software/portals.

 

Preferred Skills:
  • Systems Use: ICEGATE, ESanchit portals, document management tools.
  • Shipment Tracking: Logistics planning, status updates, issue resolution.

 

Additional Information:

This role requires a strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork, as well as excellent organizational skills and time management. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong team spirit.
