Procurement Operations Manager Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Procurement Operations Manager where you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day procurement operations processes.

  • Procure to PO Conversion
  • Fixed Asset Creation and Capitalization
  • Initiating Supplier Re-certification
  • Contract Drafting
  • System Updates

Key Performance Metrics:

  • SLA (Service Level Agreement)
  • Quality
  • Efficiency

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups including Category Managers, Accounts Payable, Vendor Risk Management Office, Corporate Ethics & Compliance Teams, Information Security & Privacy, and Contingent Workforce Program team to drive issue resolution and process improvements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Redline legal clauses
  • Handle customer issues along the contract execution path
  • Document Processes
  • Build and maintain Desktop Procedures (DTPs)
  • Analyze data and act as a buyer
  • Build and publish weekly/monthly reports
  • Represent the team on various internal forums
  • Handle customer relationship effectively
  • Resolve user queries on time and with accuracy
  • Build awareness of common pitfalls
  • Conduct periodic or need-based reviews with key partners

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's/Undergraduate degree in any subject area
  • Any Masters will be a plus

You should have:

  • Around 5-7 years of validated experience in Procurement Operations
  • Exposure to both product & Services procurement in at least two categories

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Thorough knowledge of procurement processes
  • Exposure to P2P tools like Ariba/Coupa and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle
  • Working experience in multi-cultural/multi-region Shared Services or Procurement organization
  • Proficiency in English
