Project Leader

  • Oversee planning, engineering and execution of large-scale projects ensuring alignment with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams, partners, contractors and stakeholders globally.
  • Coordinate permit applications, detailed engineering, procurement, site construction and mechanical completion.
  • Support the Commissioning and Start-Up team post mechanical completion and drive project closeout.
  • Engage with authorities, technical groups, operations and global teams for stakeholder alignment.
  • Implement risk management frameworks to oversee project resources and reporting.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and optimizing future project execution.
Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Chemical Engineering; Master's preferred.
  • Have 15-20 years of experience in the chemical industry, managing brownfield CAPEX projects successfully.
  • Demonstrate expertise in project planning, engineering design, process safety and construction management.
  • Bring experience in managing partners and global engineering teams.
  • Be certified in PMP or equivalent project management frameworks.
  • Possess strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with emergency management and regulatory liaison is an added advantage.
