Procurement Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing timely re-orders and vendor negotiations.

This is a core Supply Chain position with strong exposure to electronics components and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Re-Orders and Vendor Negotiations: Ensure timely delivery of goods from vendors, negotiate prices and terms, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform Quality and Quantity Checks: Conduct thorough inspections of received items to ensure they meet quality and quantity standards.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory levels, and coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stocking and storage.
  • Coordinate with Accounts and Warehouse Teams: Work closely with the accounts payable and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support New Product Additions and Process Improvements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and support new product launches.
Requirements:
  • Strong MS Excel Skills: Proficient in using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and others to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Interest in Electronics and Supply Chain: Passionate about electronics and supply chain management, with a desire to learn and grow in this field.
  • Team Player: A team player with a willingness to collaborate and contribute to the success of the team.
