Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join our team as a Level 2 analyst.

This role primarily supports US-based customers and requires flexibility to work during US business hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead in-depth investigations of escalated L1 incidents
  • Analyze data from multiple security tools and sources
  • Participate in crisis management by providing support to the incident handler and SOC analysts
  • Create detailed reports and visualizations of security attacks
  • Use case refinement, new use case creation
  • Track trends for metrics and reporting
  • Work on decreasing false positives
  • Maintain the detection rules database
  • Trend and correlate monitored events to build new Indicators of Compromise (IOC), attack attribution, and help establish countermeasures increasing cyber resilience
Customer Engagement:
  • Participate in recurring meetings with the customer as the technical representative
  • Provide recommendations or workarounds to the customer to minimize business impact
  • Lead and participate in the continuous improvement of the service (detection level, process, operational procedures, service efficiency, service reporting)
  • Support the customer for incident remediation
  • Support the SOC manager for activity reporting
Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive improvement plans and documentation
  • Mentor junior analysts
  • Work independently on complex analyses
  • Maintain process/procedure documentation
  • Support senior leadership during incidents
  • Lead continuous service improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support ISMS activities and implementation strategies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SOC
  • Expert knowledge in computer forensics, reverse engineering, IDS/SIEM/Log Management, threat intelligence, malware analysis, EDR & incident response, vulnerability management
