Job Overview

We are seeking a talented software developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ruby and experience with frameworks like Ruby on Rails.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop proficiency in Ruby, including language fundamentals, idioms, and metaprogramming.
  2. Have a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), mixins, blocks, procs, and lambdas.
  3. Familiarity with memory management, GC tuning, and performance profiling.
  4. Experience with frameworks like Ruby on Rails, ActiveRecord, ActiveModel validations, Engines, initializers, routing, and lifecycle callbacks.
  5. Deploy and optimize Passenger, Thin.
  6. Deeper understanding of Thread vs. process models, Connection handling, worker tuning, memory profiling.
  7. PostgreSQL and advanced usage of ActiveRecord.
  8. Optimize N+1 queries, indexes, and query plans.
  9. Proficient with Bundler, Rake, Rubygems.
  10. Gem building and custom gem publishing.
  11. Knowledge of RVM, rbenv, chruby.
