Cloud Engineer Role Summary

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Cloud Engineer with our organization, responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Azure, and experience with containerization, orchestration, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud-native systems
  • Manage AWS and Azure infrastructure, including VPCs, EKS clusters, RDS instances, and Redis caches
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
  • Containerize applications using Docker, Docker Compose, and orchestrate with Kubernetes
  • Implement and enforce GitOps workflows, branching strategies, versioning, tagging, and release processes
  • Manage artifact repositories and integrate with build systems
  • Ensure code quality and security using SonarQube, Dependabot, and Twistlock

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Good hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation
  • Proven expertise in AWS services and container orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Shell
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and GitOps practices
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services and hybrid cloud environments
  • Solid understanding of C# and JavaScript build/deploy pipelines
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Vault
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, iterative planning, and collaboration tools
