Business Analyst Job Description

Our organization is seeking a skilled and analytical Business Analyst to take on the challenge of translating business needs into functional and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business goals, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring effective solutions are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into comprehensive and actionable documentation.
  • Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and process improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met.
  • Develop business cases, workflow diagrams, use cases, and user stories.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate solutions against requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, MS Visio, JIRA, or Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in domains such as Finance, Healthcare, Retail, or IT services.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Certification in CBAP/CCBA/Agile BA (optional but desirable).
