Control M Automation Specialist

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, modifying and deploying Control-M jobs based on program requirements. They will collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and gather complete job specifications.

Automation of complex job logic using PowerShell and/or Python will be utilized. Unit testing and QA support will be performed. Production deployments, including support during off-hours, will be managed.

Troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to Control-M workflows will be handled. Jobs created by federated developers in lower environments will be reviewed and deployed.

Support for job improvements and server migration-related modifications will be provided. AWS Glue and AWS S3 will be used for job automation and file transfers.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Control-M job development and scheduling is required.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python scripting is mandatory.
  • Experience with OS-level jobs, file transfer automation and Informatica jobs is necessary.
  • Familiarity with AWS Glue job invocation and AWS S3 file upload/download is required.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot workflow and deployment issues is essential.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical teams are necessary.
