Senior Propulsion Specialist

The position of Senior Propulsion Specialist involves providing technical expertise to the development and implementation of UAV propulsion systems. This role requires a deep understanding of engine integration, calibration, and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engine Integration: Interpret blueprints and BOMs to oversee mechanical integration of engine modules, exhaust manifolds, vibration dampers, and thermal insulation systems onto UAVs.
  • Calibration and Diagnostics: Execute advanced calibration of ECU logic, ignition timing, fuel injection curves, and RPM throttling profiles tailored for each mission scenario.
  • Test Bench Operations: Oversee pre-bench preparation, monitor engine performance under full-throttle stress conditions, and collect telemetry on thermal response, power output, and vibration thresholds.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of experience in UAV propulsion systems.
  • Expertise in engine diagnostics, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of propulsion system architecture and subsystem integration.
