Job Description

As a seasoned software engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobile payments by bringing technical expertise to innovating new features and functions in customer-centric applications.

You will analyze product requirements, design implementations, and participate in integration testing to ensure seamless delivery of world-class banking solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java programming, Spring Boot framework, and REST API development, as well as proficiency with database management systems including Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including complex queries and performance optimization.

They will also possess a deep understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms, with hands-on experience with containerization using Docker, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automation tools.

A strong team player, they will collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, DevOps, QA, UI/UX, and product teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery.

The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Additionally, they will have a proven track record of debugging, profiling, and performance tuning of backend applications, as well as knowledge of security best practices, encryption, authentication/authorization flows, and regulatory compliance in fintech.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and improving existing software applications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Java programming
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot framework and REST API development
  • Proficiency in database management systems including Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
