Senior PHP Developer Role

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a Senior PHP Developer. This is a challenging role that involves designing and developing high-quality software solutions that push the boundaries of software engineering, algorithm design, and systems-level programming.

This position requires strong proficiency in PHP with at least 4+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of writing clear, concise, and technically challenging algorithmic code. In addition, they should have a strong understanding of algorithmic complexity, performance optimization, and computational constraints.

The successful candidate will have deep fluency in at least four of the following areas:

  • Core Data Structures: Trie, Segment Tree, Union Find
  • Algorithmic Paradigms: Dynamic Programming, Greedy Algorithms, Bitmasking
  • Graph Algorithms: Shortest Paths, Network Flow, Topological Sorting
  • Mathematics & Number Theory: Geometry, Probability, Modular Arithmetic
  • String Processing: Suffix Trees, Rolling Hashing, Pattern Matching
  • Advanced Topics: 2-SAT, Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), Linear Programming

The job responsibilities include:

  • Designing algorithmically rich coding problems and systems that test developers' skills in software engineering, algorithm design, and systems-level programming.
  • Developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and modular codebases using PHP, ensuring thorough coverage across edge cases.
  • Crafting clear technical specifications and problem statements, balancing creativity and precision to meet business needs.
  • Participating in peer reviews and quality assurance processes to uphold rigorous engineering standards and system consistency.
  • Delivering work in a maintainable format ready for production integration or downstream application use.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, algorithm design, or systems-level programming.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP with at least 4+ years of experience.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and technically challenging algorithmic code.
  • Strong understanding of algorithmic complexity, performance optimization, and computational constraints.
  • Familiarity with modern software data formats (e.g., JSON, YAML) and version-controlled codebases.
