Senior Vice President, Learning Strategist

The role of Senior Vice President, Learning Strategist is a critical leadership position that drives the organization's vision for comprehensive digitally driven Training & Development programs. This visionary leader will spearhead the strategic development and execution of innovative digital learning strategies aligned with the organization's overarching business and digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage a holistic digital learning strategy that champions the adoption and integration of cutting-edge digital learning technologies (e.g., LMS, learning experience platforms, AI-driven learning tools) across the organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify current and future digital skill gaps across the workforce, informing the design and oversight of innovative, scalable digital learning content and programs.

Program Design

  • Oversee the creation of a robust digital learning infrastructure, including onboarding programs for new hires, to ensure seamless integration of digital learning solutions into the organizational ecosystem.
  • Design and facilitate the planning and delivery of programs and strategies that align with business objectives and operational requirements, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Technology Management & Innovation

  • Evaluate, select, and manage digital learning platforms and technologies to ensure they meet organizational needs, staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices in digital learning and workplace technology.
  • Drive continuous innovation in the Training function by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance the digital learning experience.

Process Training

  • Ensure all training programs are designed to develop the skills and competencies required to drive business outcomes, leveraging expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, and performance improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective Training strategies and programs, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing large-scale digital learning strategies that drive business results.
  • Expertise in current and emerging technologies, including learning management systems, learning analytics, and artificial intelligence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making to measure effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in a relevant field, such as education, instructional design, or business.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Training and Development, with a strong background in digital learning and a minimum of 5 years of experience in leading large-scale digital learning initiatives.
