The Database Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of QA strategies for database and data pipeline projects, ensuring high standards for data quality, reliability, and performance.
This role requires expertise in SQL, data analysis, quality assurance, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset to identify anomalies, trends, or potential data quality issues and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead QA strategy for database and data pipeline projects, ensuring high standards for data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data accuracy, data integrity, completeness, and transformations.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify anomalies, trends, or potential data quality issues.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data workflows, business rules, and validation criteria.
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans for structured and unstructured datasets.
- Develop automated test scripts and frameworks to support regression testing and data validation.
- Utilize AWS services (e.g., Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, Athena) for QA tasks across cloud data infrastructure.
- Create detailed QA documentation, test cases, and reports.
- Strong background in SQL, data analysis, quality assurance, and cloud computing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, and Athena.
