The role of Supply Planning Manager involves leading and driving the distribution plan from a central warehouse to multiple branch warehouses across various product categories.

This includes aligning planning with business numbers, customer channels, and frequency of distribution to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient supply chain management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing robust distribution frameworks, prioritization models, and scenario-based planning to manage constraints and ensure product availability for billing across all channels.

They will also define and monitor inventory holding policies and norms based on network lead times, SKU classification, and channel priorities, and drive replenishment planning using rolling inventory norms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Distribution Planning & Execution: Lead and drive the distribution plan from a central warehouse to multiple branch warehouses across various product categories, aligning planning with business numbers, customer channels, and frequency of distribution.
  • Product Availability & Planning Frameworks: Own availability of 1,500–2,000 SKUs by designing robust distribution frameworks, prioritization models, and scenario-based planning to manage constraints and ensure product availability for billing across all channels.
  • Inventory Management & Policy: Define and monitor inventory holding policies and norms based on network lead times, SKU classification, and channel priorities, and drive replenishment planning using rolling inventory norms.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Advanced Excel.
  • Ability to manage complexity of large SKU base and multi-channel distribution.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
