QA Tester Job Overview

As a skilled QA Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

\

Here are some key responsibilities of the job:

  • Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and issues.\
  • Execute and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on project requirements.\
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues in the bug tracking system, and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.\
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable and works as expected.\
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring that testing is aligned with delivery timelines.\
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis, to facilitate efficient resolution.\
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective) to align testing with delivery objectives and improve overall team performance.\
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless user experience.\
  • Defect Detection Rate: ≥ 95% of critical issues identified before release. Ensure that at least 90% of high-severity issues are reported post-release. Achieve Test Coverage of ≥ 90% of functional requirements validated per sprint. Maintain Bug Closure Rate of ≥ 90% of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint.\

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • \
  • 2–4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms.\
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing techniques.\
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or similar software.\
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases that cover all aspects of the product.\
  • Strong communication and documentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.\
  • Experience testing AMS, LMS, e-commerce, or membership platforms is highly desirable.\
  • Familiarity with Postman or other API testing tools (basic validation) is a plus.\
  • Exposure to WordPress, React/Next.js-based platforms is an added advantage.\
  • Understanding of accessibility and performance testing basics is also beneficial.\
