Legal and Financial Oversight Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine legal and financial expertise in fund structuring, investor allocation, and documentation review. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and setting up complex fund structures, ensuring accurate investor allocations, calculating management/incentive fees, and maintaining compliance with legal agreements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Legal Document Review: Reviewing legal documents including LPAs, PPMs, and Fee Agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Fund Structure Setup: Setting up legal entities, investors, classes, series, and deal partitions based on legal document analysis.
  • P&L Allocation Logic: Analyzing and configuring P&L allocation logic and fund fee structures (management and incentive fees).
  • Investor Capital Management: Managing investor capital transactions such as subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, distributions, and drawdowns.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Tracking and reporting investor commitments, funded/unfunded capital, allocating P&L and expenses across different fund structures and investor levels, generating fund and investor NAV and capital roll reports independently.
  • Fund Returns Calculation: Computing estimated and final fund returns (Gross, Net, IRRs).
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborating with clients and internal product/tech teams for business functionality development and reporting.

This is a detail-focused role requiring close collaboration with legal, operations, and tech teams. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
