About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Collection Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing assigned accounts, following up with insurance companies for additional information, and resolving claims within defined timelines and Service Level Agreements (SLA's).

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze assigned accounts to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Follow up with insurance companies to obtain necessary information and resolve claims in a timely manner.
  • Ensure daily productivity targets are met at the required quality level on assigned inventory.
  • Prioritize pending claims for calling from the aging bucket and perform timely follow-ups to avoid revenue loss.
  • Review claims that have not been paid by insurance companies and check insurance information provided by patients for sufficiency and clarity.
  • Comply with guidelines and applicable rules while calling insurance companies for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Escalate difficult collection situations to management in a timely manner and handle patient billing queries and update their account information.
  • Post cash and write off contractual adjustments accordingly while working on accounts.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Graduation in any stream.
  • BPO experience of 2-3 years.
  • US Healthcare AR caller experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with weekends off. You will be required to have a high-speed internet connection at home and must adhere to our telecommuter policy.
