About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AIX/Solaris/Linux Specialist to join our team in Kolkata. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our AIX/Solaris/Linux systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Install and configure AIX/Solaris/Linux operating systems, system level software, and patch management.
  • Manage systems day-to-day, including cleaning of cache, system services (restarting/stopping), maintenance of scripts, and system schedule maintenance.
  • Ensure operating system resource (hardware and software) availability.
  • Develop procedures for handling all planned and unplanned outages affecting the environment, including review, approval, communication, and proper documentation.
  • Notify customers of any planned or emergency changes to the environment.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of experience in Linux administration.
  • Strong knowledge of AIX/Solaris/Linux.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
