Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the quality of data warehousing and data mart solutions by testing and validating data integrity.
  • Thorough knowledge of software test life cycle, test case life cycle, defect life cycle etc. Proficiency with test case preparation and execution is essential.
  • Experience in Azure Data Bricks / Pyspark is required for this position.
  • Knowledge in Azure Data factory is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency with different testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies is crucial for this role.
  • Should have experience testing in medium to large-scale projects.
  • Should have adequate experience and clear understanding of data warehouse and data mart testing.
  • Identification and test data preparation techniques will be essential skills for this job.
  • Leading test teams and mentoring junior staff members is also a key responsibility.
  • Extensive exposure to back-end/ETL testing with high-level SQL skills is required.
  • Should have experience working with large data sets and understand data quality frameworks.
  • Experience in data analysis, including profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation, in an information technology operating environment is desired.
  • Defect tracking experience (i.e. Jira, Bugzilla, etc) is a must-have skill for this role.
