Job Description

This is a high-level assurance role that encompasses multiple areas of risk and control.

  • Key responsibilities include designing and implementing effective controls to mitigate risks, as well as testing and evaluating existing controls.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in control assurance/testing with a strong understanding of risk management principles.

Knowledge of data analytics techniques and one or more principal risks in data governance, data lineage, data quality, records management, people risk, supplier risk, premises, GRS etc. will be beneficial.

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent is the minimum educational qualification required.

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively across a global team.

Experience in consolidating and processing information from multiple sources to create meaningful insights and reporting for stakeholders will also be advantageous.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of overall experience in control assurance/testing.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics techniques.
  • Ability to apply methodologies relating to control design effectiveness assurance and operating effectiveness testing.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a risk, control, audit, or governance function.
  • Project Management and Change Management skills would be beneficial but are not essential.

Relevant professional certifications such as CA, CIA, CS, MBA or equivalent would be highly valued.
