Job Overview:

This is a key leadership position in property management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a real estate portfolio, including office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties, and other commercial assets.

This role involves coordinating and monitoring property maintenance activities, capital expenditures, and improvement projects to enhance property value and tenant experience.

The Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager will manage third-party vendor payments, on-time mortgage payments, and maintain insurance coverage and manage claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the real estate portfolio
  • Coordinate and monitor property maintenance activities and capital expenditures
  • Enhance property value and tenant experience
  • Manage third-party vendor payments and on-time mortgage payments
  • Maintain and manage insurance coverage and manage claims
  • Enter lease agreement information and rent schedules in Yardi
  • Communicate with management and tenants regarding billing and lease language
  • Perform cash flow reporting and analysis
  • Collaborate with leasing teams to ensure lease compliance and accurate documentation
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience in property management in Yardi is required
  • Advanced experience reading and interpreting leases and related documents is required
  • Expert-level proficiency working with Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) is required
