Technical Support Specialist for SAP Business One

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide ongoing support and maintenance of SAP Business One environments hosted on Microsoft Azure. This part-time remote position requires an individual with hands-on experience in Azure administration, as well as practical knowledge of SAP Business One administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support SAP Business One hosted on Azure, encompassing VMs, databases, networking, storage, and security.
  • Regularly monitor systems, apply patches, fine-tune performance, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Efficiently manage Azure resources, ensuring cost optimization and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
  • Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business teams to address technical requirements and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Azure governance, security, and IT best practices.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or related tools where possible.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Azure Administrator (certification preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Business One administration (SQL Server / HANA knowledge beneficial).
  • Strong understanding of Azure IaaS/PaaS services (VMs, networking, storage, monitoring, backup).
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity with flexible availability.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cost Management.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One integrations with external applications.
  • Prior experience in SAP workload migration to Azure.
  • 10+ years of IT experience.
