The role of a Risk Manager involves collaborating with senior risk management professionals to identify and assess market, credit, operational, liquidity, and regulatory risks across various investment portfolios.

Strong relationships will be fostered with the investment team to ensure risk considerations are integrated into portfolio decisions, resulting in well-diversified and low-risk investment solutions.

Staying up-to-date with evolving regulatory changes is crucial, implementing necessary updates to risk management activities and internal policies.

Utilizing risk management software and tools, such as Bloomberg, FACTSET, Barra, and others, will streamline risk assessment and mitigation processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field is required (Master's degree or professional certifications like FRM, CFA is an asset).

7-10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within an investment management or financial services organization, is essential.

Strong analytical skills, with experience in using risk models, quantitative analysis, and stress testing, are necessary.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex risk information clearly to non-technical stakeholders, are also required.
