Job Title: Category Management Professional
Job DescriptionThis is a key leadership role that involves overseeing the management of FMCG categories across a region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of professionals to drive business growth and profitability.
The role holder will be expected to develop and implement category strategies that align with business objectives, manage relationships with key vendors, and optimize sales and distribution channels.
They will also be responsible for training and developing team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
In addition, the role holder will be required to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make recommendations to improve business performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in FMCG sales or a related field
- Proven track record of success in category management or a similar role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
