Job Title: Chief Quality and Environmental Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality and Environmental professional to lead our organization's quality and environmental management functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a quality management system tailored to metal fabrication.
  • Ensure adherence to industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage calibration and upkeep of inspection and testing equipment.
Health and Safety:
  • Enforce compliance with occupational health and safety norms.
  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and mock drills.
  • Implement Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and permit-to-work protocols.
  • Deliver fabrication-specific safety training and awareness programs.
Environmental Management:
  • Apply ISO 14001-based environmental controls.
  • Ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Promote sustainability initiatives such as scrap recycling and energy conservation.
Compliance and Administration:
  • Integrate internal controls into organizational procedures.
  • Identify and manage statutory and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with external partners for timely approvals and renewals.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Industrial Safety, or Environmental Science.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality and environmental management.
  • ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
