Electrical Design Engineer Job Overview

As a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex electrical projects. Your expertise in electrical design will be invaluable to our organization.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing complex electrical projects independently using your professional knowledge and experienced judgment.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge in electrical designs, including electrical distribution panels, lighting, cable management systems, outdoor and indoor lighting, lux level calculations, load estimation, voltage drop, and short circuit calculations.
  • Understanding ELV systems, including fire alarm, PAVA, CCTV, and SCS.
  • Hands-on experience in using software tools like Dialux and Amtech.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NEC, CPWD international codes, and practices.
  • Effective communication and coordination in multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Mentoring and guiding Mechanical engineering staff in knowledge and skill development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 4-15 years of experience in consultant design and managing complex building services MEP Design.
  • Master's degree holders are given preference.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with international clients and contractors.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT-MEP, and Navisworks is an added advantage.
